DJ Casey Connor is an internationally recognized entertainer, highly sought after by an impressive collection of A-list clientele. Her dynamic approach to the turntables has given this rising star a coveted celebrity following. Working for the likes of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Kayne West, Jennifer Lopez and P.Diddy has vaulted Casey into exclusive company within the industry.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Casey’s career began at the age of ten with a prominent role in the musical “Oklahoma” under the direction of Henry Hessaman at the NYC Theater Workshop. After performing in several additional productions throughout New York, Casey attended the renowned LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts. While at LaGuardia, Casey excelled in voice, dance and theater. Upon graduation, she remained in Manhattan, continuing her education at Marymount University.
Casey made her splash onto the DJ scene after being discovered by the acclaimed Benny Medina. Benny has propelled the careers of Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Will Smith amongst others. Upon Benny’s recommendation, she began training with Spinderella from the famed Salt ‘n Pepa. This served as the catalyst for Casey to captivate the celebrity scene with her dizzying array of DJ skills.
She has recently been commanding the tables for the Maxim Magazine’s National Model Search Tour throughout the country. In addition, Casey has been the DJ for several club and celebrity events in New York and Los Angeles. Such events include parties for Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Kanye West, P. Diddy, Grey’s Anatomy, Entertainment Weekly, People Magazine, Sony, Rolling Stone, MTV’s VMA’s, FOX’s New Years Party, J.Lo’s Release Party and Donald Trump events.
In addition to her prowess as a DJ, Casey continues to pursue acting, singing and dancing. Her acting roles have shown tremendous range as she has been seen in Jodi Foster’s The Brave One, Searchlights Garden State and Vanilla Sky. As a singer and dancer she has also toured with Paul Van Dyke, Paul Oakenfold, Jennifer Lopez and Whitney Houston. Additionally, her song writing has been featured on albums of the BackStreet Boys, Jessica Simpson and Michelle Branch.
Casey’s commitment to community service began as a young adult. The tragic loss of her parents left Casey with a feeling of responsibility toward the well being of children. As a resident of Los Angeles, she currently volunteers for both the Boys and Girls Club and the UCLA Medical Center Children’s ward.
