Kelvin Larkin comes from a very strong Music
Community. Not only is Detoit know to many as  Motown,
but also a city that Produces Detroit Techno. Living
in a city that has given the world some great music,
there is also a  very stong dj culture there too.

Having been a Dj for over 15yrs. Kelvin has played
along side some the best djs and grammy nominated
producers ever like: Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin, Juan
Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Stacy Pullen
to name a few. Even though his style may be have more
of a House Sound  than his early influnences, Kelvin
still takes from them a little bit of something.

Kelvin had his first residency at the famed Motor
Lounge, which by the way, was not a lounge by any
means. Packing close to 700 party people in the main
room alone, Kelvin rocked em, too many time to count.
Opening up for top dj/producers from almost every
continent. Again, too many to count…

During the this time Kelvin was also The Label Manager
for his brother Kenny Larkin’s record label Art Of
Dance Records. Which,  is where he developed his
skills as a recording engineer, booking agent, road
manager and a producer/remixer.

Since his move to Los Angeles, Kelvin has been
involved with a few residencies such as : Pocket
Rocket at Star Shoes with the likes of: Juan Atkins,
Kenny Larkin, Colette, Reid Speed, and Kimyon. Kelvin
has also been a regular at The Standard Hotel/
Hollywood. Currently, Kelvin is involved with putting
on special events such as: Summer Sessions at Oliver
Peoples. Be on the look out for new releases and remix
projects to be released on Art of Dance Records via
Beatport this Summer. Stay tuned as Kelvin Larkin
prepares to turn up the Heat this Summer making the
Larkin name even more of a household name when it
comes to Electronic Dance Music.
