DJ Puffs is a lifetime student of love, kindness, justice and soul.
She launched her career at LA’s Scratch DJ Academy, honing her skills
under the tutelage of some of the game’s top DJs. These days she can
be found spinning Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, 80’s and Old School tracks at
clubs and hot spots throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. Puffs has
provided music for the CW Network’s Summer TCA Party, the ‘On the
Line’ Movie Wrap Party starring Harrison Ford and Sean Penn, the Watts
Summer Games, Maserati’s Gran Turismo Unveiling Party, Teen Vogue’s
Summer Makeover Party, and more. She has been a resident at ‘The
Bridge’ at Little Temple Bar in Los Angeles for over a year, and
recently launched KARMA, a monthly party where all proceeds benefit
community-based organizations, in February 2008.

Both humble and hungry, Puffs works tirelessly to “get it crackin”,
making people move to the music and release their troubles to the
momentum of her syncopated, seamlessly blended beats.  Always one to
give back, Puffs has dedicated her life to building the next
generation of music lovers. After graduating from UC Santa Cruz, Puffs
became, and is, currently a full-time public schoolteacher, and also
finds time to volunteer as a teaching assistant at LA’s Scratch DJ
Academy. As a member of the Los Angeles-based Spinaddicts DJ Crew, and
Lioness Entertainment Family, DJ Puffs eagerly anticipates new
opportunities to get folks moving, and humbly appreciates her chance
to grace people with love, soul and simply put—good music.
